My grandma, Rose, taught me that our nails are tiny canvases for creative expression. Even though she is no longer with us, her hands and glamour continue to inspire me. I create with the intent to instill the same kind of inspiration into your audience, and to show them new and creative ways to paint their nails.
The Story Behind the Nails
You’re probably wondering why I’m so passionate about the nail and beauty UGC niche. It’s all thanks to my mom and grandma.
Nail polish was such a big part of who my grandma, Rose, was. As a child, I watched her paint her natural nails and take care of them with her drawer full of nail tools. She was so glamorous and I wanted to be just like her.
When she got older, she lost sight in her left eye and I began polishing her nails for her. This time we shared together is something I’ll always cherish.
When she died in 2021, it was my mom’s idea to create an Instagram page dedicated to her, our love for nails and our relationship. That’s when I created @lovealwaysrosexo. The page was immediately a success and I created @ugcbygabriella soon after to post general beauty content.
